Tim Britt
Chief Executive Officer

In 2001, Mr. Britt began building Snyoptek, now a full-service consulting and IT outsourcing business. Snyoptek is Mr. Britt’s direct response to the need for high value consulting and IT outsourcing services—driven by results. By attracting and retaining top talent-- project managers, consultants, developers and engineers-- with a focus on excellent customer service, Synoptek has grown rapidly and realized Britt’s vision in the communities it serves.

Mr. Britt focuses on global strategy, corporate development and execution at Synoptek. Britt works with businesses and state/local governments to plan their IT strategy, while delivering Synoptek’s trademark results and fanatical customer service. Britt leverages his experience from consulting, executive leadership, creativity and business acumen to lead Synoptek’s team in achieving customer objectives.

Mr. Britt has provided strategic management consulting, including IT strategy and implementation leadership, for large companies for more than 20 years. Mr. Britt held the role of Chief Information Officer at Ourhouse.com, Ace Hardware’s eCommerce business. While there, he oversaw the implementation of the entire eCommerce and ERP infrastructure while managing a team of more than 100 analysts, programmers and engineers to complete the task. Ourhouse.com was sold to Amazon.com in 2001.

At Kurt Salmon Associates, Britt developed and implemented operational strategies to achieve outstanding results for clients across the globe, including:

  • Consolidating distribution for the largest retailer in Japan
  • Implementing a new merchandise planning process for one of largest big-box retailers in Japan
  • Streamlining product development for a large, branded international apparel manufacturer

Mr. Britt holds an Industrial Engineering degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Robert Whiton
President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Whiton excels in general management and business development at Synoptek. As past president and CEO of Net Solutions, Inc. which Synoptek acquired in 2006, Whiton specialized in designing and managing IT infrastructures for small to medium-sized businesses. Net Solutions grew from a product reseller to a full-service network integration and managed service provider under Whiton’s direction over an eleven year period.

Creativity and ingenuity are the trademarks of Whiton’s approach to business. As a computer design engineer with Control Data Corporation in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Whiton co-invented the popular touch sensitive computer screen in an effort to improve the acceptance of computers by healthcare professionals. Mr. Whiton’s experience includes both technical expertise and general management of healthcare management companies.

Mr. Whiton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering from Iowa State University and did graduate work in health information technology at the University of Minnesota and the University of Southern California.

Eric Codorniz
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Codorniz is CTO at Synoptek. Mr. Codorniz has over 18 years of information technology integration and networking industry experience. He provides management, implementation, and migration expertise to enterprise clients with a focus on overall security and ROI.

Special Skills include Microsoft networking and client/server migrations. He has substantial knowledge with messaging systems and has assumed architectural and project leadership roles on several large scale messaging and operating system migrations. Mr. Codorniz also has extensive experience with secure networking and remote access solutions, including various implementations of routers, switches, firewalls, concentrators, and authentication services. Mr. Codorniz has also spent time aiding companies Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Business Continuity practices, and has even helped author and teach Backup & Disaster Recovery seminars for Enterprise customers over the course of his career.

Eric is particularly capable in advising "C" level clients on strategic IT investment decisions. He has worked extensively with technical as well as non-technical clients including "C" level clients to assist in the vision and implementation of technology to arrive at alternative business solutions.

Eric received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Vanguard University.

Shaharom Stripling
Director of Business Development

Mr. Stripling uses his extensive experience in both engineering and sales to help companies identify areas where they can gain the greatest benefit from process and technology improvements. Mr. Stripling then puts his passion for customer service to work ensuring that all initiatives are executed to the complete satisfaction of the client.

Prior to joining Synoptek, Mr. Stripling was involved in a leadership role at QuickStart Intelligence providing IT organizational development solutions for Fortune 1,000 companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Tim Becker
Service Delivery Director - Boise Operations Center

With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Becker is uniquely qualified to lead Synoptek's software development, outsourced IT and data center operations located in Boise, Idaho. During his career, Mr. Becker has been responsible for a variety of technology and process integration initiatives in industries including health care, home entertainment and capital management. These include working in the areas of SAP supply chain management, change management, IT integration planning, implementing support centers and performing technology due diligence on acquisition opportunities.

Mr. Becker was formerly CTO of a top ten mortgage lender where he was involved with global operational and strategic planning. Prior to this experience, Mr. Becker helped companies enhance their business successes through his expertise in software development at Electronic Data Systems and in systems integration at McDonnell Douglas.

Mr. Becker graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Monmouth College in Illinois.

Miguel Sanchez
Business Systems Consulting Manager

Mr. Sanchez has more than 10 years of experience in large scale systems implementation, including working with project leadership to conduct IT assessments and develop strategic approaches to build business and technology solutions. In addition, he has extensive knowledge in the software development lifecycle for mortgage loan origination systems.

Mr. Sanchez is also highly skilled in cultivating excellent professional relationships, communicating effectively across projects to build focused and productive teams. He has experience working in the financial services, telecommunications, utilities and healthcare industries.
